UN chief ends visit to Morocco

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon ended, on Monday morning, his visit to Morocco, during which he took part in the third World Policy Conference (WPC) in Marrakech.

Ban Ki-moon was greeted in the Rabat-Salé airport notably by Foreign Minister Taib Fassi Fihri.

During his visit to the Kingdom, the UN Secretary General was received by HM King Mohammed VI.

UN chief to visit Morocco

UN Secretary-general Ban Ki- moon is set to travel to Morocco later this week for the opening session of the World Policy Conference, and then to France early next week where he will address the Council of Europe on human rights, UN spokesperson Martin Nesirky told reporters here Monday.
